President Donald Trump has nominated Ed Forst, the former CEO of Cushman & Wakefield, to serve as administrator of GSA, following a rapid succession of acting leaders at the agency, reports the Washington Business Journal. If confirmed by the Senate, Forst will succeed Acting Administrator Michael Rigas, who took the helm just two weeks ago after the departure of Stephen Ehikian, an Elon Musk affiliate. Forst’s experience includes stints at both Cushman & Wakefield and Goldman Sachs. He currently chairs Lion Capital in London.

Forst’s nomination comes days after the exit of Michael Peters, Public Buildings Service commissioner. Rigas expressed support for Forst’s leadership to further GSA’s evolving priorities.
