GSA ensnares Docusign in OneGov branding while striking a good deal
On 31 July 2025, GSA announced Docusign agreed to a 70 percent discount on Docusign eSignature plans and 50 percent off Intelligent Agreement Management plans, the latter of which serve as sticky workflow solutions, AI-enabled, of course.
This appears to be quite a good deal, as a search of GSA Advantage! found the Docusign eSignature Standard Edition - Seat Subscription (Annual) selling for $296.22 through Carahsoft.

I was shocked by that, because the “most popular” commercial plan available on Docusign’s website is $300 annually. So, good job, GSA.

In case you forgot what OneGov is, the presser reminds it’s “the cornerstone of the Trump Administration’s drive to consolidate federal procurement for common goods and services and provides critical tools to federal employees at discounted pricing.”
Allan Thygesen, CEO of Docusign. notes that “Agreements are the backbone of government operations.” Here’s the Docusign value prop, with a bizarre lead: “boost procurement technology infrastructure, resulting in faster vendor onboarding, less [sic] paper-based processes, better vendor management, and more data-driven decision-making.”
While at some points the agreement is referred to as falling under the “OneGov” umbrella, elsewhere it merely “aligns with OneGov’s broader shift toward OEM-direct engagement, transparency in pricing, and accelerated digital transformation.”
That’s a lot of promises in one release.
