Larry Allen joins GSA as associate administrator for policy
Larry Allen, longtime commentator on government acquisition and founder of Allen Federal, has announced his move to the General Services Administration (GSA) as Associate Administrator for Government-Wide Policy and Chief Acquisition Officer.
Allen, a well-known voice in federal procurement, sees this as a pivotal moment for acquisition reform, likening it to the transformation of the 1990s. With over 30 years in the field, he aims to bring common-sense solutions to government-wide policy.
While stepping into public service, Allen assures his audience that this is not a farewell—he plans to return to the private sector in the future.
