The Trump administration launched DOGE with an expected 100-day timeline, which would end early May. According to Business Insider, President Trump indicated in March that DOGE’s mission was likely on track to "be essentially complete in two to three months," confirming the time frame.

However, recent judicial intervention complicates this scenario. A federal judge issued a preliminary injunction temporarily halting further reductions and mandating the restoration of certain operations. This development could delay DOGE's expected conclusion and potentially extend the disruption of federal acquisition activities.

The administration has yet to confirm whether DOGE can adhere to the initial 100-day framework given these new legal challenges.
